Alcohol is said to lower blood sugar by hampering the liver’s ability to produce sugar from fats. I don’t drink often anymore. However, I like the occasional “rum and diet coke”.
Even when drinking in moderation, the following day, I show very elevated blood sugar…especially after fasting.
Ive been told I have diabetic symptoms. I frequently urinate and am always wanting water. I just recently changed my diet drastically and as a result Im very fatigued as of lately. Recently a doctor told me that I could be a risk as I had a very rough incident with starting and stopping psych meds last year. I never ended up getting checked out, but how would I know? I mean what would bring one to the doctor to ask if they can be tested for diabetes? Thanks.
After having a miscarriage last year at 7 weeks, I can’t help but be worried about the outcome of this pregnancy. I am currently 14 weeks. Besides a little nausea that may have been induced by my prenatal vitamins, I have had no pregnancy symptoms. On the other had, I have had no signs of miscarriage either. Somehow, I can’t help feeling as if I may not be pregnant. How I hope that isn’t the case. At 34 with no children, I’m looking forward to having my very own little one.
Are there others out there with a similar experience? No weight gain, no breast tenderness, no cramping or bleeding either. Could I just be that blessed that I’m having a fabulous pregnancy but am too worried to enjoy and appreciate it?
