My personal testimony about how using Pharmanex nutritional supplements of Nu Skin has helped to improve my life and strenghten my health and antioxidant defense system.

Best supplements for humans?

I’ve been doing my research and tweaking my supplements and diet. Unfortunately, as most of you know, the internet is an unwavering guide of mixing nonsense with fact. I’m a student at Purdue for nutrition but I’m only a sophomore so I’m fluent in health yet.

I know already that a multivitamin containing the standard “must have” vitamins (A, C, etc.. plus Zinc and all that) is a must. I also know that green tea extract (I prefer to drink actual green tea because i enjoy the flavor and aroma) and omega 3 is an absolute must. I’m having trouble deciding what else to add into my daily supplements.

Let me give you some further information on who I am and what I want:

I do workout 6 days a week. All are high intensity and 3 out of six days include weights. I have an EXTREMELY active metabolism (one that I can eat anything and still lose weight). I’m 21 years old. I have a slender build. Diabetes runs in my family (no threat to myself as of yet) as does obesity (again, with my active lifestyle there’s no threat of obesity to me YET).

I’m not looking for supplements to complement my workout as those are a dime a dozen and I’ll get a thousand different answers all arguing against each other. I have forgotten more about exercise supplements then most people will ever learn. The supplements I want and take promote longevity and health. I repeat, they promote longevity and health. What does this mean?

The supplements I incorporate into my daily life should promote a long and active lifestyle (ie should promote a highly functioning metabolism, alertness, mental stability in all its form [memory, reactions, etc...], bone and muscle health, etc…). These supplements should also promote general health and regulation (ie gastrointestinal health and regulation, cardiovascular health and regulation, nervous health and regulation, etc…) as well as preventative measures (ie cancer prevention, anxiety prevention, depression prevention, fatigue prevention, etc…).

This isn’t so much as a matter of opinion as it is a question of what has worked for everyone else. I’m looking for everyone’s input who has a source to site. Please try and site a source so I know what I could potentially be putting in my body. I appreciate everyone’s answer.

Thank you
Again, I’m NOT LOOKING TO LOSE WEIGHT OR BUILD MUSCLE…I got that on lockdown.

What Kind of Dietary Supplements Should I Take?

Im 17 years old and is overweight but I am exercising and dieting and so far lost 26 pounds and got rid of my type 2 diabetes. I was wondering what kind of vitamin/fiber supplement I should take. I used to take One A Day Mens Health Formula daily, but i got scared when i saw all these “studies” on how some of them can cause cancer in the long run, so i stopped. I also take fiber supplements but they are very hard to keep track of. It says take 6 pills up to 3 times daily. Is there anything easier then that?

Input is very appreciated. I am on an 1800 calorie diet with at least an hour of exercise daily, if that helps.
