glucose-level.net One of the biggest challenges diabetes patients face is keeping their glucose level within the normal range. Normal glucose level in humans fluctuates slightly throughout the day in response to food intake, exercise and stress, b

But I don’t have symptoms at all I had test trough blood work and my sugar levels were fine am I diabetic? Are these tests accurate?

A non-invasive blood glucose monitor that measures the refraction of laser light through the clear fluid in the front part of the eye to determine glucose levels. This is a concept sketch for the diabetesMine design competition. The concept of measuring blood glucose through the aqueous humor has been researched and tested, but to the best of my knowledge, nobody has proposed a testing device that uses the concept. My design proposes a sonar/infrared “depth gauge” but in all likelihood, this will be unnecessary as the angle of refraction will probably not differ with the angle or amount of fluid that the laser passes through.

Dr. Dubusky demonstrates (to a dog owner) how to measure a blood glucose level at home. In this particular dog, the pinnae (ear flaps) were small, thickened and did not produce enough blood for the owner’s glucometer. Inside the upper lip is an alternative site for glucose monitoring. The blood glucose (279) was above the desired level. The dog was a perfect patient.

I recently did my fasting lab-work and my blood glucose level was 124. My dr says it is elevated and wants me to retest.
I just tested my blood-sugar with a glucometer and it was 145. I ate a small sandwich about 2 hours ago. I am worried that I might be diabetic, or border line.
