Right now I’m taking two pills which make me gain weight as well as can cause diabetes. I was wondering there are any other pills that I can switch too which don’t cause weight gain or cause diabetes. When I wasn’t a Schizophrenic I weighed 175 and I was 6’2 and now I am 205 pounds and 6’4. My legs seem to be larger then my stomach, but I’ve had that ever since I was born. Also if you know of any diet supplements which can reduce my appetite or make me lose weight as well as any exercise programs that target the stomach and or legs that would be great. I was looking to spend somewhere around $0.00 to $30.00 on my weight loss program, so just about anything inexpensive.

Im 17 years old and is overweight but I am exercising and dieting and so far lost 26 pounds and got rid of my type 2 diabetes. I was wondering what kind of vitamin/fiber supplement I should take. I used to take One A Day Mens Health Formula daily, but i got scared when i saw all these “studies” on how some of them can cause cancer in the long run, so i stopped. I also take fiber supplements but they are very hard to keep track of. It says take 6 pills up to 3 times daily. Is there anything easier then that?
Input is very appreciated. I am on an 1800 calorie diet with at least an hour of exercise daily, if that helps.

For some reason my eyesight seems darker, I don’t know if it is my imagination because I’ve been eating a lot of sweets lately and scared about diabetes. Also, I haven’t been taking my iron supplements lately. So can anemia cause darkened vision? Or is it just my imagination?

I’m a 31-year-old male and was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when I was 15 years old. Aside from trace amounts of protein in my urine several years ago, which subsequently went away through pre-emptive treatment of ACE inhibitors, I have had no complications associated with the disease. However, I am a ‘brittle’ diabetic, meaning that despite being in reasonably good control and testing myself several times a day, my blood sugar swings from lows to highs on a regular basis. For the past year or so, I’ve noticed a significant decrease in my energy levels. I could easily lay in bed all weekend and sleep. I’ve tried just about everything; I thought perhaps it may be ‘adrenal fatigue’ (I’ve been a caffeine junkie for years) and so weaned myself entirely off diet cokes and red bulls. I’ve switched to an Atkins diet. I walk at least two miles a day. I’ve tried amino acid supplements. But despite this my default state is one of exhaustion. I despise it, I want to be more productive! Help?
